Bread of Life Ministries
http://www.poplink.org/bol.html

The Bread of Life Ministries, a nonprofit organization, exists to serve the hungry and the homeless people in the Augusta area. One nutritious meal a day, six days a week, served at the kitchen, seeks to relieve physical hunger and offer an opportunity for fellowship. Emergency housing is provided to those in need of shelter. This Agency has been formed by area churches whose Christian faith is very clear about responsibilities to those in need. We combine in our efforts to serve as the instrument of God as we help His people.

Bread of Life Ministries can be reached at (207) 626-3434.

Assistance to local families

The East Pittston Youth Group raises money to provide Thanksgiving food baskets to area families. They also “adopt” local families at Christmas, providing food and gifts.
